Panic was mostly the Denver concert and the new song. The CFOB Mixtape was the one Panic demo song. The Brobecks continues to wow me. Rise Against has been getting some decent airplay on Music Choice so I just had to listen to the whole album again. Good stuff. Intense. Cobra…I’m just not entirely ready to let go.

‘Blue Eyes’ is the artist name listed in the mp3 that Pete posted on his blog. It was clearly Brendon (and possibly the rest of Panic) singing part of an old Frank Sinatra song. Quite lovely really. Spinnerette, I finally downloaded the new album, IT IS FUCKING AWESOME BUY IT NOW. And, naturally, Panic and Fall Out Boy dominate the rest (the CitizensFOB Mixtape is just those songs by them off of it).

This was the week I went to the Believer’s Never Die tour, and I was wanting to not oversaturate myself with the music from the bands I’d be seeing. All of the CFOB Mixtape playcounts come from the Fall Out Boy demos on that album. I would SO buy an EP with the demos that didn’t make it to FaD. The White Lies is because I wound up buying the whole album after listening to the three songs I had originally bought over and over and over. I really like them.

So, Fall Out Boy is my favorite band. And I clearly love the fuck out of the demos that they have (so far) only released on the Mixtape. Down Down Down are this weird little indy band that just has this delightful sound. I recommend them to anyone that likes Queen. And, of course, Black Gold is just really good. Cobra Starship is absolutely not a guilty pleasure, I love them and their new album is going to be awesome, I can tell. :D
