Mini-Review: Yeasayer - Daytrotter Sessions
I have not yet heard the album (All Hour Cymbals) that the songs from this session are from. I have only heard Odd Blood, but I utterly adore it. It should be noted that Yeasayer are weird and a little disturbing. They are not comfortable. But that’s a big part of the appeal. Importantly, they are good.

Mini-Review: fun. - Daytrotter Session
I’m completely in love with fun. and the album (Aim & Ignite) that these songs were drawn from. I’ve listened to it a whole, whole lot. Which means that I’m actually less inclined to enjoy variations to the songs because I get so accustomed to the album versions. Happily, I’ve also had the chance to see them live (they are fucking amazing, go see them if you can!)...

Before this I’d only heard Right Girl and Inside of You by The Maine, both on the Alternative Music Choice channel. It’s seriously the closest thing I have to a radio anymore. Mini-Review: Biffy Clyro - Daytrotter Session
I first heard Mountains by Biffy Clyro on the Alternative Music Choice channel. I enjoyed it quite a bit, it’s got a huge feeling to it that swept me away. So when I saw that they’d done a Daytrotter Session I went to check it out.
